Hi,
We are developing IPV6 support for our device which has SAMBA-3.0.14a.We
are facing some issues in this. We are not able to connect with NetBIOS
name from windows vista (with IPV6 ) to the device on which we developed
IPV6 stack. What is the name resolution mechanism used for IPV6. Is it
with LLMR (Link Local Multicast Name Resolution ) protocol which listens
on 5355 or some thing else?? Ill be very thankful if some one help us in
resolving this issue.

Thanks & Regards

Jelmer,

strangely enough, I fixed a bug yesterday where our test suite was
failing if the machine didn't have IPv6 !

So it does appear to be working, although it doesn't of course support
the parts of the protocols that can't handle IPv6 (such as NBT name
resolution).
