Yeah, from what I recall, despite the generic claim that "only certain 
queries are supported" via cldap, I don't think I ever found anything that 
said what specifically was/wasn't supported, and any basic query I did 
worked just fine.  I suspect it would be something that involved hairy 
controls or such that might not work.

I don't think I've seen anything outside of the netlogon 
mailslot-equivalent queries via cldap in the wild, though.
