Folks,

This is not the first time that smbwrapper has been left broken.
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3904

I'll fix it for 3.0.23 but as soon as we release I'm proposing
we remove as unmaintained code. If it gets replaced with Derrell's
(or anyone else's) libsmbclient code, that's fine. But I'm
tired of bothering with it. It has been developed seriously
since tridge originally wrote it for 2.0.

Any objections or discussion? I'd like to get some closure on
this issue.

cheers, jerry
