Dear samba developers

I write to this address because my log-files told me to do so :-)
If this is wrong and I have to write to any other list, please tell me.

I'm trying to get a "Develop ineo 250/350" working with cups+samba for raw
printing from windows clients with samba providing the Windows-driver for
Windows-clients (www.develop.de, scanner+printer+copier).

I've read the official samba3 howto
esp. chapter 20 "Installing Drivers into [print$]".

I've successfully managed to get a "HP clj 2500" working the same way i
tried with the ineo drivers (putting windows-drivers at samba via APW).
Even a "HP clj 5550" is working now (COLOR directory in sambas driver
directory did not exist so there was a "access denied" at first)
The HP is working like a charm but if i try to access the properties of
the ineo (It installs via APW), an error-message appears:
"Die Druckeigenschaften können nicht angezeigt werden.
Der Vorgang konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden."
Its a german windows version and i dont know the exactly english
equivalent, but its like "Cannot access printer properties.
The procedure couldn't be completed" (sorry for my possibly
mispronunciation). After that even the HP did not work for a while.
(restarting samba helps, restarting windows likewise or just waiting)
It didn't happen allways, it's like "sometimes it works,
sometimes not".
If it works (the printer properties opens), then there is no connection
at the connections tab in printer properties (ineo) while there is a
"Samba Printer Port" in HP properties. With ineo printing does not
work whatever I do (both HP do, if I do not touch the ineo driver)

I've tried different drivers from develop.de: ineo 250 and ineo 350+
for windows 2000. the further one I even tried to add using rpcclient.
(got the necessary files with "rpcclient 'getdriver'" from a
working windows host (like explained in howto))
Didn't work either.

Here comes the log (abridgement). Maybe this helps more ;-)
