experimental linux kernel driver for smbd

Hi all,

The attached patches implement a Linux kernel driver that provides a
readirplus call, and the corresponding Samba3 VFS interface. I've tested
this on the smbtorture netbench workload and though it does work,
there is no performance benefit AFAICT.

So these patches are really just proving the concept that it is reasonable
to extend the kernel with Samba-specific functionality.
