hm, if this is really intended, okay. Yes here librt is linked against 
libpthread. But it would indeed be very ugly if on all glibc based 
systems, where librt is linked against libpthread profiling couldnÄt 
be used :-|. Volker's idea later in thread sounds good to me btw.
