Does anyone know why the windows explorer (XP client) uses large writes (SMBwritex using 60 KB size), when uploading a file to a samba server and small transfer sizes (SMBwritex using 4K bytes) against a windows 2003 server? The negotiate protocol step is similar between the 2 exchanges. Thx, Murali
