Read-only file access

Hello,

Thanks for your response! But since the file being accessed is on the
SAMBA server, the server has to communicate to the client that the
file is already kept open by someone else, which prompts the
application on the second client to pop up the read-only dialog box.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Madhu
