Jeremy,

Strange behavior in nmbd (tested 3.0.21a, 3.0.20b, and 3.0.14a).
When a Samba PDC is configured as a WINS server and wins.dat
has outdated records:

	interfaces = vmnet1 lo
	bind interfaces only = yes

$ ifconfig vmnet1 | head -2
vmnet1    Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:50:56:C0:00:01
inet addr:192.168.56.1  Bcast:192.168.56.255  Mask:255.255.255.0

$ bin/nmblookup -U 192.168.56.1 -R 'FARSCAPE#1b'
querying FARSCAPE on 192.168.56.1
192.168.56.1 FARSCAPE<1b>
192.168.1.159 FARSCAPE<1b>
192.168.115.1 FARSCAPE<1b>

Then nmblookup 'FARSCAPE#1b' failes to respond. When I remove
the outdated #1b records, nmbd responds to the broadcast name query.
Any ideas why? nmbd is more you code so I was hoping to pass this
off :-)

cheers, jerry
