The major points brought up on the Samba list are

(a) not having a global root account in LDAP
(b) migrating from one passdb to another

The first point is solved by not requiring a root account
anymore (user privileges) and we already knew the second would
be an issue.  So far I have two +1 votes here and about 1/2
dozen responses all of which can be handled reasonably easy.
