Help!samba2.07

Hi,I am a man who is now studing the codes of Samba2.07,of course Samba of
version
2.07 is old but it give me much interesting really in studing its codes.I am now
coming across a problem which is when you copy files which are larger than 2G
byte,it fails.
I am also clear it solve the problem after the version of 2.27.But if i want
to modify the codes in Samba2.07,how should I do?Would you please give me some
hints?many thanks.
