Hi All, I was trying smbfs mount against a Linux Samba server with "encrypt passwords=no" set in smb.conf. The smbfs mount seems to fail with "Access Denied". With "encrypt passwords=yes" which is the default configuration it succeeds. There is nothing obvious in the Ethereal traces. Thanks, Pratik Packeteer Inc.
