It does seem to compile fine on IRIX, at least on us4 which is IRIX
6.5. See for example:

  http://build.samba.org/?function=View+Build;host=us4;tree=samba4;compiler=cc

that has successfully built the ldb code. The tests on us4 fail for
Samba4 right now due to a ejs problem, but the build is fine.
