ahh, ok, the way I did it was to build ldb as part of Samba3, and I
relied on your DONT_USE_XX macros.

I'll try -Wc++-compat as well. I probably won't do all of Samba4 at
this stage, just the bits where it makes some sense for Samba3 to use
it in the near future.
