samba 3.0.22 cross-compilation woes

I think this has been fixed in the SAMBA_3_0 tree.

I would suggest grabbing the SAMBA_3_0 tree and trying to
compile that.  You will probably hit some of the same issues
as you did with 3.0.22 but ti will be easier for us to integrate
patches against that tree that the release code.

When you have some changes that fix a particular cross-compiling
issue, please post to this list for review and we'll try to get
things checking in upstream.
