WINS remote administration protocol

Jeremy,

If you want to do the wins remote admin tools, we'll need
the endpoint mapper support. Some of the remote admin
calls are winreg calls around the wins service keys in
"HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\wins".

The management calls are described in Samba 4's wins.idl
(although none are currently decoded).

You can find a trace of running the Windows 2000 WINS
administration tool at http://www.samba.org/~jerry/captures/wins2.cap.
I've checked from the NT4 wins admin tool and the traffic is
the same.

I think in order to get this right, we would need to convert
nmbd to using a tdb that could be accessed by smbd. If you
add the static entry file like we talked about, and we get the
adminuistration tool up, then we would probably be ok.
I know we reverted from the tdb solution a while ago, but I think
this would be a requirement for real remote administration via rpc.

cheers, jerry
