[Samba] Samba filename spaces problem

It seems I didn't understand him correctly. I didn't realize that he's one of
the developers :) My bad.

Did he mean that samba now always mangles filenames that would be invalid
under Windows? If that is the case, how are the names mangled, since Windows
explorer and shells (cmd, 4nt) show filenames with trailing spaces?
