CIFS Conference and Plug-Fest 2005 Call for Papers
Overview
The 9th Annual CIFS Conference and Interoperability Lab -
www.CIFS2005.org <http://www.cifs2005.org/> , will be
held at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, California,
on August 1-5, 2005.
This year, in an all-new format, the CIFS Conference will
be co-located with the first SNIA Developers Solutions
Conference and Showcase, www.DevelopersSolutions.org, allowing
CIFS attendees to avail themselves of new conference tracks
including Fibre Channel, SMI, Security and other emerging
and important topics such as Grid Computing, OSD and more.
There will be an opening day of keynotes, 2-days of tutorials
& technical presentations, a 4 day CIFS client/server
Interoperability Lab, and the first co-located iSCSI plugfest.
Topics of Interest
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
* Management and Manageability
* CIFS Extensions
* Active Directory Intro.
* New Behavior with Win2K3 and Longhorn
* Policy Management
* Virtualization & High Availability of CIFS and NFS
* CIFS User Mgmt in Large Networks
* End-User Case Studies

Paper Submission Deadline: June 10, 2005
Notification of Acceptance: July 5, 2005
Conference: August 1-5, 2005
Submission Information
Papers should be electronically submitted, written in English.
Format should be in PowerPoint, Word, or PDF.
Please include a summary of the proposed presentation
along with three (3) learning objectives that attendees
can take away from attending.
