PS: I know there are LDAP modules that are much more supported.
Unfortunately we run an Active Directory tree here and the LDAP modules
don't play well with that. e.g. I have "Jason Haar" accounts with
sAMAccountName's of "jhaar" in two separate subdomains. When it's Active
Directory they are unique as "dom1\jhaar" and "dom2\jhaar" - but you
can't use "dom\user" in LDAP calls. Also the LDAP modules don't
recursively chase group membership either (e.g. I am in group "NZ" which
is in group "Pacific" - and want to tell Apache to allow anyone in group
"Pacific" into one area. Doesn't work with mod_auth_ldap)
