Agreed, it would only help if we went down a static linking route, which
we are not.  There are issues with the heimdal_build system that seem to
stem (as far as I see it) from having multiple headers called
'config.h'.

The one that causes the most pain is due to HAVE_H_ERRNO not being
defined, which comes back (as far as I could tell) to the config.h issue
I mentioned above.

There are other shadowed variable warnings, which lha has been actively
removing from the main heimdal tree, and which I've been merging across
when I update lorikeet/heimdal.

If you are happy to drown in warnings for a bit, I'm happy to supply
them! :-)
