Hi
my smb.conf includes a file called shares.conf, which includes some
share-definitions in several files.
After removing an included share-definition (both in shares.conf and in
the filesystem), I'll do an /etc/init.d/samba reload (which calls
start-stop-daemon --stop --signal HUP --pidfile $SMBDPID) I can't reach
my shares, "smbclient -L localhost" says:
Anonymous login successful
Domain=[ISOM] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.0.10-Debian]
Sharename Type Comment
--------- ---- -------
Error returning browse list: Call returned zero bytes (EOF)
Anonymous login successful
Domain=[ISOM] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.0.10-Debian]
[ list of available servers ]
log.smbd gives me:

This occurs with 3.0.9+Security Patches and 3.0.10 (which is nearly the
same AFAIK). We use this procedure for Month now, older versions (3.0.7
for example) reloaded without problems.
Any Suggestions ?
Regards
