Could I suggest adding a testdata/samba3 directory at the top level in
svn, and adding a test script to test the upgrade from Samba3 to
Samba4? I suspect this is the sort of thing that will break quite
easily, so making sure we catch the breakage will be important.

The testdata/samba3/ directory would have small examples of Samba3
data files.
