Since Samba 3.0.x uses Kerberos for LDAP authentication, I am wondering if enabling Transport Layer Security for (open)LDAP adds any value. In other words, when used with Samba is the TLS ever used by LDAP? I would appreciate any help. Warmly, -Arup Biswas
