Hi All,

I have similar problem as
http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2005-April/103670.html

Create account from users in /etc/passwd and group /etc/group
Successfully "net vampire" account from Windows NT server PDC.

Set right SID for domain in Samba PDC.

Shutdown WinNT server.

Users can login to Samba server, but no access to home directory or
other share directory.

#smbclient -L localhost -U pepa
   Password:
   Domain=[HKEL] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.0.10-1.4E]

        Sharename       Type      Comment
        ---------       ----      -------
        IPC$ IPC IPC Service (Samba Server 3.0.10-1.4E)
        ADMIN$ IPC IPC Service (Samba Server 3.0.10-1.4E)
        pepa Disk Home directory of pepa
   Domain=[HKEL] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.0.10-1.4E]

#smbclient //127.0.0.1/pepa -U pepa
tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME

'/home/pepa' does not exist or is not a directory, when connecting to [pepa]

Directory /home/pepa exist, and permission OK.

   ls -l /home/ | grep pepa
   drwxrwx---   2 pepa pepa  4096 dub 27 15:41 pepa

This description is for all users, BUT not for administrator

  #pdbedit -Lw pepa
  pepa:516:D1A9....

  #cat /etc/passwd | grep pepa
  pepa:x:516:516::/home/pepa:/sbin/nologin

  #net groupmap list
  I erased duplicate "Domain Admins", "Domain Users"
  and now have only similar SID.

  #net groupmap modify ntgroup="Domain Admins" unixgroup=root
  #net groupmap modify ntgroup="Domain Users" unixgroup=dusers

  In /etc/group I have groups dusers contain all users
  and groups root contains administrator

  I try share directory, who I set chmod 777, but same result.
  Users cannt enter to directory.
