"Bad lockout attempts" still does not seem to work

Hi everyone,

I submitted about this error when Samba was at 3.0.4.
Though the changelog says it has been resolved, my tests continue to 
show that it only works when "bad lockout attempts" is set to 1.
Can anyone please advise how to get around this persistent bug?
