i have 4 machines connected to a netgear router, when attempting to copy a 50 meg file from the winxp sp2 machine to samba 3.0.7 machine, it goes instant (10 seconds), but when i try and read the file from the linux box it will take 28 minutes, does anyone know why ? thanks dave
