On the subject of shameless plugs, reading http://www.padl.com/Products/XAD.html it seems to me,
that XAD could be an AD DC minus the following functionality:
-Samba fileserver
-LDAP multimaster replication
-LDAP storage of schema
-M$-PAC

Am I right?????????????
