Can I assume that symbols like EHOSTDOWN and EADDRNOTAVAIL are portable

Hi,

Can anyone cast any opinions on whether or not the above symbols are
available across a wide range of implementations these days?

I want to use one of them in libsmbclient in the case where we cannot
locate the workgroup or server associated with a NetBIOS name.
