anyone else seeing this (broken 3.0 tree)?

Anyone?

When 'host msdfs = yes' exists in [global], 2k & XP clients
cannot access file sahre unless 'msdfs root = yes' is set
in the service definition.

Anyone else seeing this with the current 3.0 cvs tree?
I'm trying to make sure I haven't lost my mind.
