Smbclient and Dfs access

I have been digging through groups.google.com and general web searches
and have found nothing definitive about this. I am working with Nokia's
Secure Access Server (which uses samba 3.0) and have run into issues
accessing dfs shares. I installed 3.0.3pre1 on RH 7.3 to test this and
got the same results. My guess is you all have heard this problem
before, but I am looking for the definitive answer.
 
smbclient can access the dfs share, but when you attempt to cd to a
directory in that share, it cannot list its contents. Further, if you
attempt to access a subdirectory of that directory, it fails. 
 
Is Dfs supported in samba 3? 
If not, are there any plans to?
If so, how do I do it?
