I've been through that several times with SuSE, major sponsors of reiserfs.

At least with SuSE 8.2 the problem still exists. Did not severly test 9.0, as
my trust to reiserfs has been completely destroyed. It's fast, but from my POV
this only drives you to inconsistency faster.
