I have a PDC (HARDY) running samba-3.0.2a, and I have just upgraded a
domain member (WEBSTER) to samba-3.0.5pre2-SVN-build-1375. After doing
so, I can no longer get a list of domain users on the domain member.
Before upgrading (and after reverting to 3.0.2a on the client), wbinfo
and "getent passwd" both worked successfully. I assume that this
combination of client and server should work.

On the client, wbinfo causes entries to appear in var/log.winbindd:
[2004/07/07 22:23:25, 6] nsswitch/winbindd.c:new_connection(343)
accepted socket 19
[2004/07/07 22:23:25, 3]

Also on the client, "getent passwd" causes more interesting entries to
appear in var/log.winbindd:
[2004/07/07 22:30:42, 5] nsswitch/winbindd.c:winbind_client_read(465)

On the PDC, I could find no entries at the default log level.

The tell-all message on the client I believe to be:
[2004/07/07 22:30:42, 0] rpc_client/cli_pipe.c:rpc_auth_pipe(256) BAD
auth level 6 (should be 5)

I'm getting used to missing the obvious, so it would come as no surprise
here if I'm missing something obvious. Then again...

I can dig deeper if the problem/solution is not obvious to anyone.
