Multi-user win apps on samba

I have been running a personal samba server for three years.
Now I'm thinking about installing one into a enterprise level production environment.  My only concern is because I haven't experimented this far for myself yet is Can multi-user windows applications be installed on a samba server and run just as effectively by windows clients?
