pdbedit --force-initialized-passwords returns "Bad TDB Context pointer"

Try

~  root# pdbedit-3.0.2 --force-initialized-passwords \
~        -b=tdbsam:<path to passdb.tdb>

My guess is that the 3.0.2 version you compiled is looking
for things is different paths than the version you have installed.
This is just a guess (wuthout more information).
