There's an error (I think) in the IDL for EventLog RPC calls;in the IDL file for eventlog_ReadEventLogW, there shouldn't be an output param "sent_size".
 
Also, in the test_ReadEventlog code eventlog.c, the flags variable may have  to be set to something to get something back (like, 0x01), and I *think* that the buffer pointer r.out.data that is supplied in the 2nd call to ReadEventLog (after the length is determined) needs to be alloc'd before it's passed in (it's a buffer pointer, right?) (and freed of course when done).
