Support to inform users' of password expiry in advance

Thanks for the information. I had a look at pam_ldap source code.
pam_ldap has some mechanism to read all the shadow entries like max pass
age, min pass age and warn days etc. Based on the warn days and other
fields, it informs the user about password expiry in advance. (Its much
like what pam_unix does). 

Samba has some code to read fields like max pass age, min pass age (e.g
AP_MAX_PASSWORD_AGE, AP_MIN_PASSWORD_AGE etc in smb.h) etc. But I am not
sure on how pam_winbind can read the warn days information from AD
server. Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.
