thank you. It took a number of team members (including myself) quite a
long time to get that working. It really helped as a stopgap measure
before tackling the problem of being a full ADS DC, but it is showing
its age now, and of course, our users want more :-)

The test suites are mostly part of the smbtorture program. The only
non-code documentation is the slides from the various talks I have
given on the topic over the last couple of years. Those are out of
date as the code is moving so fast, but they may be useful

well, i've been thinking for a while that a regular "development
happenings" summary would be a good idea. We did have a "kernel cousin
Samba" that aimed at that for a while, but it petered out.

Maybe you could work with our webmaster, Deryck Hodge, on that? I'm
sure he'd love some more content.
