I'd take you up on it, but the issue was settled by my wife. She liked
the Gateway M505X. I've done some checking on the 'net and it seems she
managed to get a really good deal on it. I've done some digging, and it
looks as though I'll be able to get Linux running (though I'm likely to
have trouble with the wireless).
Maybe I'll write up a compatibility report. :)
