did something wicked happen to the SAMBA_3_0_RELEASE in the packaging area?

i guess i must have...
i just moved the repository from one computer to another in an attempt
to save some bandwidth.
deleting the packaging subdir and updating appears to have fixed the
problem.
weird - i have just lost much faith in cvs - at least it wasn't
subtle...
