Workgroup required for KRB5 auth

Also, what happens if the domain name is not specified (it's a NULL string)?
In other words, does Samba use some internal notion of a domain or
"WORKGROUP" name?  The API seems to do this in the non-KRB5 case.  So I'm
wondering if there's a difference if using Kerberos.
