"extended response" flag

Good evening folks,

What is the 'extended response' flag?  It seems to be set in the Create
Flags field in NT Create Andx calls issued by Win 2000 (and presumably
other NT systems).  Its value is 0x10.  Ethereal calls it 'extended
response required'. It's not documented anywhere.  It is required to
create a directory. I haven't (yet) found anywhere else it matters.

Can anyone help out?
