Hi,
I have compiled samba 2.2.8a on HPUX with ldapsam. I have configured my
samba server to talk to an LDAP Server. All my users are in the directory
server. My problem is I can change smbpasswd of a user when I'm root but
cannot change smbpasswd when I am a regular user. I get the following error
message

machine 127.0.0.1 rejected the password change: Error was : RAP86: The
specified
 password is invalid.
Failed to change password for <USER>

Any body else has seen this problem.

Any help is appreciated.
