Has smbclient behavior changed from 2.2.8a to 3.0.0?

The problem is that smbclient is talking to port 445. Port 445 does SMB
*without* NBT (that is, without the NetBIOS over TCP layer). You can't
have NetBIOS names if there is no NBT layer. Workgroups don't mean
anything without NBT.

Try adding "-p 139" to the command line and see if that fixes it.
