hi

i am new to samba.

==========================================================
our software(Digital video recorder) uses Samab protocol for file acces.
our client runs on windows OS and server runs on linux. samba used to acces 
file from server to client machine.
our software have 2 functionality

1) local view- in this case works fine no problem

2) remote view- in this case it is very slow and some time it is not 
working.
please suggest
changing samba-------------FTP or some other
or any other method
please it is urgent
