Status of --with-idmap configure option?

Hi,

In fact, the samba and posix account are stored in a LDAP directory.
Then for each user I've a SID and an uidNumber in the directory. And I
would like that the mapping occurs between them and not automaticaly
with an idmap uid range configured in smb.conf
