revalidate option

Hi!

I'm using Samba 2.2.8a and I compiled the source code.
I want to use the "revalidate option" but the program "testparm" states

Unknown parameter encountered: "revalidate"
Ignoring unknown parameter  "revalidate"

Is there a substitute option, that I can use, or has this option been
renamed (or has it been removed)?
