ODBC / Postgresql password backend ?

Hi,

I just have read some documentation about 3.0.
There is written about support of MySQL backend.
We use Postgreql for other purposes. I don't want to install another
database just for samba authentication.
Are you going to support Postgresql as authentication backend?
May be you could do ODBC backend, so other database backends could work
also?
