Anyone seen problems with configure when trying to pass coverage options?

Hi,

I am seeing problems trying to do a coverage build for Samba 2.2.x.

When I set up CFLAGS to include '-a -fprofile-arcs -ftest-coverage', the 
test for fcntl_locking fails in or around exit(status) and gets a SIGALARM 
signal.

Anyone seen that before?
