Winbind on HPUX11, Totally Stuck, Please Help

OK, this looks like winbindd is sort of works ...

I think this is where your problem is. ldap is not winbindd.

It looks like PAM on your version of HP-UX does not handle arbritrary NSS 
shared library stuff.
