Hi
when I try to join to a 3.0.1rc2 with samba 2.2.8
I get the following error:
root at chardonnay cups-1.1.20]# smbpasswd -j itsystems -r 192.168.0.1 -U root
Password:
error creating domain user: NT_STATUS_NO_SUCH_USER
Unable to join domain ITSYSTEMS.
Th reason for this may be a Problem with the %m variable
samba logs
2003/12/12 21:10:04, 3] rpc_server/srv_samr_nt.c:_samr_create_user(2229)
_samr_create_user: Running the command
`/usr/local/sbin/smbldap-useradd.pl -w "192.168.0.11"' gave 1

[2003/12/12 21:10:04, 3] smbd/process.c:switch_message(685)
Therefore %m ist not replaced with the machine name.
The log is also created in log.192.168.0.11 and not in log.%m
The netbios name of 192.168.0.11 can be resolved on the 3.0.1rc2 PDC?
[root at bordeaux samba]# net LOOKUP CHARDONNAY
192.168.0.11
mblookup chardonnay
load_unicode_map: filename
/usr/local/samba/lib/codepages/unicode_map.ISO8859-1 does not exist.
querying chardonnay on 192.168.0.255
192.168.0.11 chardonnay<00>
Thank you
Greetings
